Vascular Embolotherapy and Nerve interventions Targeting Inflammation and pain

Vascular Embolotherapy and Nerve interventions Targeting Inflammation and pain

The VENTI conference serves as a platform for international colleagues from around the world who are dedicated to the innovative approach of "pain treatment through vascular embolization."

Attendees will acquire comprehensive knowledge on disease fundamentals, mechanistic insights, patient selection, embolization techniques, and postoperative follow-up. This conference also facilitates in-depth discussions with experts who have extensive experience in MSK embolization.

In recent years, MSK embolization (TAME) techniques have gained rapid acceptance globally. These techniques are now being applied not only to conditions such as frozen shoulder and knee pain but also to sports injuries, lower back pain, neck pain, hand osteoarthritis, chronic prostatitis, and the pain associated with internal hemorrhoids.

Our daily practice involves listening to and treating patients suffering from pain in various body parts, leading to the development of new treatment methods to alleviate their pain. Against this backdrop, we encourage participation from not only physicians specializing in embolization but also those from orthopedics, rehabilitation, urology, proctology, gynecology, and other related fields.

The VENTI conference is designed to ensure that the latest treatment methods are continually updated and to facilitate deep discussions on implementing these treatments safely and effectively, transforming previously untreatable conditions into manageable ones.

It is a great honor to welcome you to VENTI 2027 in Tokyo.

Over the past few years, MSK embolization has evolved from an emerging concept into a clinically meaningful treatment option for patients suffering from chronic and treatment-resistant pain. Through continued research and clinical experience, we are gaining a deeper understanding of its mechanisms and expanding its indications.

VENTI 2027 aims to further bridge the gap between theory and practice—by sharing real-world experiences, discussing challenges, and refining techniques to ensure safe and reproducible outcomes. We hope this meeting will not only advance the science, but also contribute to improving the quality of life for patients worldwide.

I look forward to welcoming you to Tokyo and to engaging discussions with all of you.

Sincerely,
Yuji Okuno, MD, PhD
Congress Co-Chair, VENTI 2027

He graduated from Keio University School of Medicine in 2006 and began his career in vascular interventional radiology. After serving as Director of the Musculoskeletal Catheter Center at Edogawa Hospital, he established Okuno Clinic in Yokohama in 2017. The clinic has since expanded to 10 locations across Japan, performing more than 2,000 musculoskeletal embolization procedures annually.

Dr. Okuno is the inventor of TAME (Transcatheter Arterial Micro-Embolization), a novel embolization technique for the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal disorders. He has authored and co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications on embolization therapy for musculoskeletal diseases.

We are delighted to welcome you to the Vascular Embolotherapy and Nerve Interventions Targeting Inflammation and pain (VENTI) 2027 conference in Tokyo, Japan.

Following the strong success of our inaugural meeting, VENTI returns with an even greater focus on advancing the field of MSK embolization and pain interventions. This second edition aims to build on the momentum we have created together, offering deeper insights, more refined techniques, and practical knowledge for daily clinical practice.

MSK embolization continues to gain global recognition as an effective treatment option, particularly for patients with treatment-resistant or chronic pain. We are honored to be joined by an outstanding faculty of regional and international experts who will share their latest experiences and perspectives.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tokyo and to another inspiring and impactful meeting.
